Dan Rayburn
Dan Rayburn is a 30-year veteran of the streaming media industry, considered one of the foremost authorities, speakers, and writers on streaming media technology and OTT business models. An avid blogger, author, consultant, and principal analyst, Dan is often referred to as the voice of the industry, having been quoted more than 2,000 times by the media and regularly appearing on TV, including CNBC, Bloomberg TV, BBC News, and NPR. Due to his expertise, Dan has also received invitations to testify as a witness at hearings by both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives on topics related to net neutrality, telecom mergers, and content delivery architectures.
Dan is conference Chairman for the NAB Show Streaming Summit, and his streamingmediablog.com is one of the most widely read sites for broadcasters, content owners, OTT providers, Wall Street money managers and industry executives. Dan has presented at over 200 conferences, authored/co-authored eight books, and taught at NYU. Dan founded one of the industry's first live webcasting production companies in the mid-nineties, which was sold to a telecom provider in the dot-com era.
